Music is how I explain my whole life. It is the foundation of the makeup of my life. I would not be able to live without it. Music is my version of expressing what I feel or what I like to do and who I am. It is an art that we can not live without. Music is proven to help people get over things no matter what you are going through, or if you just want to have a good time. It is my vision of the future and what I want to do.
Life is where we get our experiences from Music. Without our Lives, we wouldn’t be able get the chance to experience everything we do and learn from it. Some people think that life is a sin, I think it is a blessing to be able to be alive and to have the chance to make a change in someone or something. One person can chance dozens of souls through music.
What Is Music?
Music: vocal and/or instrumental sounds combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of Emotion.
Emotion is the way you feel during your path through Life through experiences from things such as Music. It makes you feel something and can sometimes never begin to explain. But somehow, as a musician, I can define my Emotions through metaphorical lyrics that sum up the basics of how I feel. No one can understand completely how I feel, they are not me. But I can give my listeners an idea of what i’m going through that anyone can relate to. Music can move people.
Instruments are how i create my Music. They connect to me like a living person would. I can easily grab a handful of Emotions just simply by strumming my guitar. This is always how I start of my songs. Simple chord progressions are a key to making a new song. I currently have four guitars and I have no idea what I would do without them. They comfort me, and help me through my Life.
Change is how Music is formed. If everything always stayed the same, we would have no experiences with Emotions in our Lives. Changes are what make us who we are and why we think what we think, or even do what we do. Our Life reflects off of what we listen to. For example, if you listen to a song with happy lyrics and an upbeat sound, your Life is going to be positive. It also works the same if you listen to bad, inappropriate songs. This explains how Music really can Change someone for better, or for the worse.
And finally, the most important, is Love. It is the key to a song. You don’t even have to write a song about Love. But somehow, it will always have some kind of Love in it. A song doesn’t even need words to explain the Emotion. The Music could be completely Instrumental. And if your song is about Love, there and many kinds. You could be talking about your friends and family. It never has to be the stereotypical Love like breakup songs, or about getting back together. You could even sing about how much you love Music.
But as you can see, Music has a big meaning to me. It is different for everybody. Some people may just enjoy listening to it, and I get that, but some people use it every day for what they are going through, or how they explain what they are feeling at the time. But for me, Music is everything. It is my way of Life and Love. So I am hoping that you understand how much I enjoy sitting in my room for hours, strumming, writing songs, singing, and just simply putting my headphones on and falling asleep. Music is the Color of my Soul. This is Music to me.
